Charlotte Nightlife
In addition to Charlotte's world-class zoo and restaurants, the city truly gets pulsing once the sun goes down. Charlotte nightlife
is exciting and diverse, especially in Uptown. From crazy dance clubs
to quiet bars, there's a little something for everyone. Special events
and concerts are constantly coming through town, but there are some
stable standards that keep people coming back. Some of the more popular
stops include the Breakfast Club and Cans.
The Breakfast Club, located at 225 N. Caldwell St., is a staple when it comes to Charlotte nightlife. This 1980s themed party place is three levels full of dancing, nostalgic videos, and memorabilia. The Breakfast Club also has an outside patio and tiki bar,
so visitors can enjoy those beautiful Charlotte nights. Bachelorette,
birthday, and private parties are also popular and welcome.
For a slightly different experience, check out Cans at 500 W. 5th St. Visitors at this local hot spot are more than likely indulging in the bars featured item - canned beer. If this doesn't suit your taste, Cans also has a large selection of draft beer, wine, and cocktails. If your stomach's growling, the menu is filled with sandwiches and fun snacks such as Mac N' Cheese Bites and Tater Tots. The atmosphere is fun and laid back as patrons play pinball and control the jukebox full of hits from the 1970s and 1980s. Cans also hosts special events in the evenings including comedy shows.
